The UK Chinese Business Association (UKCBA) was founded in London in March 2012 by a group of successful entrepreneurs from the Chinese business community in the Uk. At its founding, UKCBA received strong support in the UK, the Chinese Embassy in the UK, and the business communities of the UK and China. lts members include outstanding British and Chinese business leaders and local chambers of commerce in the UK. The UKCBA embraces a platform to promote and support economic and people-to-people and economic exchanges and commercial cooperation between the UK and China. Since its establishment the UKCBA has played a vital role in strengthening business engagement between British And Chinese enterprises. The 15th World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention hosted by theUK Chinese Business Association was successfully held in October 2019. The theme of the15th WCEC is "New World, New Opportunities". This is the first time that WCEC is held in the UK which reflects Chinese entrepreneurs' confidence in the British market and in ChinaUK business cooperation. More than 3,000 Chinese businessmen from nearly 60 countries and regions, as well as representatives from the political and business circles in China and the UK, attended the event.
